At Warner Hotels, we’re looking for an BI Analyst turns data into insight that drives informed, commercial decision-making. Through a curious and analytical mindset, the role helps the business understand performance, identify opportunities, and act with confidence. This role is responsible for delivering timely, actionable insights that support commercial decision-making and enhance business performance. Working closely with commercial and operational teams, the role translates strategic objectives into meaningful analysis and reporting. It proactively identifies revenue, margin, and demand opportunities through detailed performance and trend analysis, while monitoring and explaining commercial results to highlight key drivers, risks, opportunities, and variances. Insights are communicated clearly and confidently to help stakeholders prioritize focus areas and take impactful action.
Knowledge
· Strong understanding of commercial performance drivers, including revenue, demand, pricing, and customer behaviour.
· Working knowledge of how core business functions interact, enabling insight to be interpreted in a broader commercial context.
· Understanding of the end-to-end customer journey and its impact on overall performance.
· Clear awareness of how insight and reporting support decision-making at different levels of the organisation.
· Ability to apply business context to data, turning analysis into commercially meaningful insight.
Capabilities and skills
· Data Analysis & Reporting: Proficient in Power BI to create actionable insights and visual reports from complex data.
· SQL: Strong ability to query and manipulate data to support analysis.
· Business Insight: Ability to translate data into clear, actionable commercial insights.
· Curiosity & Problem-Solving: Proactive in exploring data, identifying patterns, and solving business challenges.
· Collaboration: Work well with cross-functional teams to deliver relevant
Experience / Education / Qualification
· Educated to degree level (or equivalent), ideally in a numerate or analytical discipline.
· Some experience working with data, analysis, or reporting (through study, placements, internships, or early career roles).
